New Book Deal Signed

For the past several years I have been diligently working on a research project addressing the Madman Theory as an aspect of U.S. grand strategy. What began as a journal paper for the Cambridge Review of International Affairs in 2021, will conclude in 2026 as my fourth book, The Politics of Chaos: Trump, Nixon, and the Madman Theory.

I am delighted to have signed a contract with Manchester University Press who will now begin the process of bringing the book to life, and to market, with an anticipated launch in Spring 2026. I am most grateful to the support and encouragement I have received from so many people, on both sides of the Atlantic, and indeed, all parts of the world. I hope that you enjoy reading the book when it hits the bookshelves early in the new year.
